Abstract
- Taking acrylic acid (AA) and acrylamide (AM) as monomers, and then introducing nano-silica (nano-SiO2),with ammonium persulfate as the initiator, N,N-methylenebisacrylamide (NMBA) as the crosslinking agent, using the addition of polyvinyl alcohol to make the system have an interpenetrating network structure, P (AA-AM) /Nano-SiO2/PVA organic/inorganic composite interpenetrating network superabsorbent resin was prepared by aqueous solution polymerization method, and the crosslinker dosage and initiator were investigated. Effect of nano-silica addition on resin water absorption magnification. The results show that the addition of hydrophilic nano-silica has a negative effect on the water absorption performance of the water-absorbing resin, and the water absorption rate of the composite resin reaches 360 g/g at a particle size of 20~80 mesh. P (AA/AM) /PVA resin water absorption multiple of 477 g/g; test its water absorption capacity in distilled water and 0. 9% sodium chloride solution, respectively; the addition of nano-silica makes the composite resin have good water retention performance, and the resin is dried for 5 h at 80 ℃,and its water retention rate reaches 92. 7%.
