Abstract
- Life After Gravity: Isaac Newton's London Career.: By Patricia Fara. For one thing, presumably in order to accommodate last minute additions, the text in places extends almost to the bottom of the page, which has an ugly appearance (xxii-xxiii, xxvi-xxvii, 31, 52-53, 92-93, 126-27, 208-09, 218-21, 230-31), although elsewhere in the book two pages are completely blank (82, 150). For instance, an interesting section of the book deals with medals with which Newton was associated, of which it would have been desirable to illustrate a larger selection.
