Abstract
- The article addresses the gap in national strategies for managing COVID-19 and future pandemics. Emphasis is given on the need for a national strategy to address public distrust of health agencies and evidence-based policies, as well as the use of community-based participatory research and education approach to address misinformation and distrust and provide access to COVID-19 vaccines. Also noted is the value of community-based public health implementation science to a national strategy.
