Abstract

In modern conditions of digital transformation of the economy and digitalization of the educational process of higher educational institutions, remote reception of documents of applicants for admission to university studies is becoming widespread. In this regard, there are many heterogeneous tasks: ensuring the procedure for submitting applications for applicants; providing applicants with advice; ensuring the completeness of filling budget places. In the course of solving these problems and achieving the general goal of optimizing the recruitment of applicants for training, information and technology converge. The advising system proposed by the authors is aimed at supporting the choice of areas of study or speciality by applicants when applying for admission to a university. This becomes especially relevant in connection with the increase in the number of possible areas of training and specialities to ten. A mathematical model of the decision-making support system for the choice of training areas and speciality, taking into account the preferences of the applicant, is proposed and an example of application using the hierarchy analysis method is considered. The proposed methodology is aimed at optimizing the choice of areas of training and specialities for a particular applicant and can be implemented in the applicant's personal account.
