- Direct resolution immunofluorescence from perilesional skin revealed intercellular deposition of IgG antibodies and C3 realizing a honeycomb-like pattern, which confirmed the diagnosis of PV. B Author Information b An event is serious (based on the ICH definition) when the patient outcome is: * death * life-threatening * hospitalisation * disability * congenital anomaly * other medically important event A 72-year-old man developed pemphigus vulgaris (PV) during treatment with the tozinameran vaccine. Histopathology from the bullous lesion showed a suprabasal blister with acantholysis in the lower epidermal layers and occasional lymphocytes. [Extracted from the article]
