Astragalus has both immune and antibacterial effect, which is widely used in livestock and poultry breeding industry. In the livestock and poultry breeding industry, using Astragalus as a feed additive can improve the growth performance of breeding animals, regulate immune performance and increase breeding income. The article introduces the biological function and effect of Astragalus, and expounds the application status of Astragalus feed additive in ruminant, poultry and pig breeding, to provide reference for further study of Astragalus.
