Macroglossia associated with multiple nodular lesions of the tongue.

The article presents a case study of a 81-year-old woman with pain on the left border of the tongue having xerostomia. Topics include affected by rheumatoid arthritis and on therapy with prednisone with no recent blood tests available, no cervical lymphadenopathy, or extraoral swelling being detectable; and firm consistency seemed to originate from submucosal layer.
