Abstract
- This article is the result of a master's investigation about life paths and formation of Biology teachers who work in Technical Professional Education at High School -- EPTNM developed in the integrated modality, the Integrated High School - EMI, in a Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology located in Rio Grande do Sul state. In this context, we aim to understand the processes by which the knowledge that nourishes the professional action of six Biology professors at EPTNM is constituted. Based on the assumptions of qualitative research described by Triviños (1987), the methodological course of this investigation was based on life and training narratives and on semi-structured interviews as a source of the documentary corpus, which was submitted to the procedures of Content Analysis according to Bardin (1977). The results show that the knowledge of Biology teachers at EPTNM blossoms during their formative paths, covering the different dimensions of their personal and professional experiences and, thus, instituting their different ways of thinking and living teaching.
