Importância da Capacidade Absortiva na Inovação do Setor Público: Uma Revisão da Literatura.

This study aims to analyze the existing literature in order to identify the importance of absorptive capacity for innovation in the public sector in order to indicate elements that allow an improved understanding of the subject. Therefore, a narrative review of the literature was conducted in order to synthesize previous works on the topic. The study approaches the theoretical aspects that go from the establishment of the model of managerial administration culminating in the importance of the absorptive capacity for innovation in the public sector. Despite the few researches on the subject, the absorptive capacity presents itself as an important organizational antecedent for the generation of innovations that respond to the varied challenges of public organizations in responding to the demands of society.
