Abstract

An appropriate clinical screening to identify epidemiological risk factors for PAS and improving the training for ultrasound placental evaluation are necessary to increase diagnostic sensitivity of PAS disorder. To describe the experience in diagnosis of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorder in an Outpatient Placental Unit. Eight cases presented a focal PAS disorder and only one patient (12.5%) was diagnosed prenatally due to her history of uterine septoplasty with focal PAS in a previous pregnancy.
