The Humanitas magazine was founded in January 1996 at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile as a result of Pope John Paul II's visit in 1987. The objective of the magazine is to address current issues from a Catholic perspective and contribute to the recovery of human meaning. Since its creation, the magazine has reflected the teachings of the Magisterium and has promoted the mission of evangelization and the dialogue between faith and reason at the university.
