Abstract
- The article discusses the effectiveness of the one-shot library instruction session as a mode of knowledge transfer and information literacy. Topics include ways to change the barriers to adapting new instructional identities by library educators, the advantage of focusing instructional energies and intentions on student learning rather than librarians' teaching, and how the authors experienced success in transitioning information literacy from one-shots to a more integrated approach.
