A declaration on the rule of law in the European Union.

The article presents a declaration outlining reasons to safeguard the rule of law in the European Union (EU). These include vision for establishing a union among the peoples of Europe, respect for the principles of liberal constitutional democracy, interconnection of liberal democracy, human rights and the rule of law, realization of the rights of European citizens, common legal order obligation and upholding of equivalent standards developed by the Council of Europe bodies and mechanisms.
