Abstract
- The article discusses how the concept of originalism could be used as a tool by U.S. Supreme Court justices to advance their agenda. Also cited are the claim by 1987 justice nominee Robert Bork that judges should consider the intentions of the drafters of the Constitution in their decision making, and how the concept is leading to conservative results as advanced by the six conservative justices.
