Windhoekite, C a 2 F e 3 - x 3 + (S i 8 O 20) (O H) 4 - 10 H 2 O, a new palygorskite-group mineral from the Aris phonolite, Namibia. The palygorskite-group minerals (including windhoekite) are among the last to crystallize in the miarolitic cavities; Chukanov et al. ([2]) suggest the following general order of crystallization: microcline -> aegirine -> fluorapophyllite -> palygorskite-group minerals -> arisite. [Extracted from the article]
