Abstract

As part of an effort to investigate the feasibility of transitioning marine ports away from reliance on national grid electricity and toward green power-based ports, hydrogen could be used to supplement diesel fuel in an internal combustion engine, the aim of this paper is to developing a mathematical model for the optimum performance of HHO gas generator according to ICE specification and clarifying the effect of cell design parameter change on gas production rate. The gas production rate can control by the current apply to the generator and the ideal gas production rate is 0.25 Liters/minute per 1L of engine size. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
