Abstract

The article discusses research which examined the impact of natural selection on human-specific pelvic morphology. Topics explored include the genetic factors which may have contributed to the anatomical changes observed in the human pelvis, comparison between humans, chimpanzees, and gorillas in terms of pelvic morphology, and the epigenomic and transcriptomic features of human pelvic chondrocyte development.
