The Peace Movements in Europe and the United States/West European Pacifism and the Strategy for Peace.

The article presents an account of two books on peace movements. The books are: "The Peace Movements in Europe and the United States," by Werner Kaltefleiter and Robert L. Pfaltzgraff; "West European Pacifism and the Strategy for Peace," Peter van den Dungen. Both of these books demonstrate that there are some interesting and critically important questions to be addressed about the nature of the domestic consensus on the European security and the challenges to it.
