Abstract
- The article presents a discussion on the quantification of the Bender-Gestalt (BG) and Draw-A-Person (DAP) protocols for deaf clients. The factorially derived scoring variables were reliable and independent of non-personality variables, but also were uncorrelated with 10 criterion variables. As part of the intake psychological assessment, the BG and DAP were administered to 229 deaf clients of the Chicago Jewish Vocational Service Deaf Project. The BG and DAP protocols were quantified on 16 rating scales that were constructed after examination of several scoring systems.
