Abstract

In the article, the authors present a case of 47-year-old woman with diabetes who was rushed to a hospital to improve her glycemic control to discuss how neprilysin inhibitor could increase urinary C-peptide excretion in diabetic patients. Also cited are the use of sacubitril valsartan sodium hydrate or dual angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNi) to treat her uncontrolled hypertension, and the use of electrochemiluminescence immunoassay to measure C-peptide concentration.
