PARROCCHIA E APOSTOLATO FRANCESCANO.

The article develops a theological reflection on the physiognomy of the parish as a community; in particular, it addresses its renewal, in the light of the challenges of the postmodern world. Following the documents of the Magisterium of the Church and keeping in mind the values of the Franciscan charism, some criteria are identified: mission, creativity and communion that could be useful for the pastoral commitment to be carried out in the parish entrusted to the Franciscans. Particular attention is paid to the contribution that Franciscans can make to the evangelization and pastoral care of the parish entrusted to them and to the possibility of re-proposing today the unprecedented experience of St. Francis, expressed through an apostolate that engages in dialogue with man announcing salvation in the Gospel.
