A Crash Course in Creative Commons Licensing.

As the number of openly-licensed works continues to grow, so, too, does the need to understand the permissions afforded by the Creative Commons licenses. In this report on a recent program delivered at the North Carolina Serials Conference, the presenters will provide an introduction to Creative Commons, the four conditions upon which the Creative Commons licenses are built, and a description of the six Creative Commons Commons licenses accompanied by a real-life use scenario.
