Abstract
- Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Xiaoer Feike granule combined with cefuroxime axetil in the treatment of children with acute bronchitis and its influence on immune function and inflammatory indexes. Methods: 88 cases of children with acute bronchitis in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were randomly divided into control group (treated with cefuroxime axetil) and observation group (treated with Xiaoer Feike granules combined with cefuroxime axetil) by the envelope lottery, with 44 cases in each group. Both groups were treated for 10 days. The curative effect, remission time of clinical symptoms, immune function, inflammatory factors and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed. Results: The clinical total effective rate of the observation group was 90.91%(40/44), which was higher than 70.45%(31/44) of the control group(P<0.05). Compared to the control group, the disappearance time of clinical symptoms (lung rales, cough, fever) of the observation group was shorter (P<0.05). 10 d after treatment, CD3+, CD4+, CD4+ /CD8+ of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and CD8+ was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05). 10d after treatment, the levels of serum interleukin-6 (IL-6), hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusions: On the basis of cefuroxime axetil treatment, the treatment of children with acute bronchitis assisted by Xiaoer Feike granule can shorten the time of symptom relief, effectively reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors, and improve the immunity of children, which is safe and reliable.
