Abstract

The article is a review of the book "Comics in School: Theory and Teaching Practice" by Markus Engelns, Ulrike Preußer, and Felix Giesa. The book is based on the 11th annual conference of the Society for Comic Research and is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with theoretical discourses, while the other two chapters focus more on school practice. The volume offers a variety of theoretical and empirical approaches and examines the didactic potential of comics in different contexts and subjects.
