Cadê o juízo do menino?: reflexões das crianças sobre a normalidade em uma obra de literatura infantil do PNAIC.

Abstract
- The article is part of an empirical research with children aged 10 and 11, students of a school located on the outskirts of the city of Porto Alegre/RS. The investigation analyzes the children's conceptions about the concept of normality from the book Where is the Judgment of the Boy?, part of the works of the Plano Nacional pela Alfabetização na Idade Certa (PNAIC). The book was read and discussed with the students, based on conversation circles. The analysis carried out articulates the written and visual texts of the book, legislation and the children's reflections. We used the concept of Action of Educational Policies (BALL; MAGUIRE; BRAUN, 2006) to analyze the empirical material produced. The results demonstrate that education policies go beyond their educational or pedagogical goals, such as literacy and language knowledge, but also contribute to the human development of students. Therefore, the interference of the teachers is fundamental, from the choice of works read in each classroom to the debate about them, contributing to review stereotypes and provide critical education.
