Abstract
- This fact is known for HT <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><mi>k</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>2</mn></mrow></math> ht and Poisson arrivals (e.g., see Theorem 4 of [[6]]). This is the reason why the stability of the I k i -cascade system is mainly studied for HT <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><mi>k</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>2</mn></mrow></math> ht (e.g., see [[6]]). Let HT <math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mrow><msub><mi> </mi><mi>i</mi></msub><mo>=</mo><msub><mi> </mi><mi>i</mi></msub><mo stretchy="false">/</mo><msub><mi> </mi><mi>i</mi></msub></mrow></math> ht , which is the nominal traffic intensity of station I i i .
