Abstract

The aim of this article is to highlight the existence of the Territories of Death, Fear and RESISTANCE LGBTQIAP+ from the collection, reading and analysis of data that ranges from the violation of human rights to the construction of struggles, manifestations and claims in the Urban Space. The territories of death presented here were represented from the materialization of Hate Crimes against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual Brazilians from the data provided by the Gay Group of Bahia between 2000 and 2019. The territories of fear were represented from the ongoing rape processes against LGBTQIAP+ bodies based on data provided by the Ministry of Family, Women and Human Rights. Finally, the Resistance Territories were represented by the number of Stops and similar actions built in different municipalities between 2006 and 2019. Violence directed at these bodies is motivated by some discourses that are supported, above all, by religion and some figures of public power. The "Territory of Death, Fear and Resistance LGBTQIAP+" map shows what we have the worst and cruelest. They are bodies considered "abnormal", "sick" or found in "sin", in this way, need or the healing that will reverse this "devious" body in a "normal" body or violence that punishes and eliminates the symbols that certain bodies carry. To achieve the proposed objective, the following methodological procedures will be used: data collection and treatment, comparative analysis of statistical data organized in maps and graphs, survey and reading of bibliography and cartographic production.
