Abstract

The fibroepithelial polyps (FEPs) of vulva are uncommon tumours. They are benign in nature and mainly found in reproductive years. They are mostly solitary, pedunculated, and small in size. Histopathologically underneath the hyperplastic, surface epithelium stellate and multinucleated stromal cells are present, the central core is fibrovascular. Presenting symptoms usually include cosmetic concerns, sensation of a mass, bleeding, and discharge. For confirmation and to exclude malignancy biopsy is required. In literature, there is no mention of time taken for progression of polyp. We present a case of rapidly growing large fibroepithelial polyp of vulva. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
