Abstract

In the present paper, by modifying two sublattice pseudospin lattice coupled-mode model (PLCM) containing third and fourth-order phonon anhannonic interaction terms by adding extra spin-lattice interaction, direct spin-spin interactions terms, and electric field term is considered for Rochelle salt (RS) crystal By using double time-temperature dependent Green's function method, Dyson equation theoretical expressions for ferroelectric soft mode frequency, dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent have been derived for Rochelle salt By fitting various model values of physical parameters, thermal variations for ferroelectric mode frequency, dielectric constant and dielectric tangent loss have been obtained for Rochelle salt.
