Nowadays, studies on the appropriation of space from the communication approach enable social research within everyday settings, in order to explore various interactions and appropriations that subjects carry out based on the symbolic attributions that they grant to public spaces and deprived of contemporary times, they also make viable little-explored places that manifest the culture of individuals. The different visions and theories proposed by the authors of the studies of appropriation of the space allow to establish an analysis on the tendencies in which their investigations are generated, in that sense, this essay outlines a brief review of perspectives related to the construction of Theoretical approaches in studies of appropriation of space.
