El insumiso hijo de internet. El meme como discurso multimodal de resistencia en el ciberespacio.

Internet memes are increasingly part of relevant academic studies as a new form of language adapted to our era. This itinerary is made to show the characteristics of the meme as a discourse of resistance in digital communities nucleated around various political or social causes. A synthesis is proposed from some of the texts of the growing specialized bibliography in the Spanishspeaking context, where this counter-hegemonic potentiality is analyzed or verified from a critical and multimodal perspective.
