Abstract
- Link between obesity and early onset colorectal cancers: Importance of accounting for BMI trajectories in early life. All studies included in our review considered body mass index (BMI) at late adolescence, young or middle adulthood, i.e., at ages during which BMI trajectories are rather stable ([[3]]). Nevertheless, we agree that timing of BMI measurements and BMI trajectories are crucial factors to be considered in the study of the role of overweight and obesity for colorectal cancer (CRC), including early-onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC).
