Abstract

Methodology developed focus on the optimization of the formulation of concrete to instant release of mold. Information for the developed formulation method is obtained from the technical data sheets of the materials and by a compactness test on a press. Mold characteristics and vibration parameters are also necessary for the use of the compressible stack model. From this information and the requirements outlined in the product specification, the formulation method determines the optimal granular mix, the volume of equivalent aggregates, the volumes of cement, addition, effective water and air are calculated by solving a system of equations and tested with constituents, a mold and vibration parameters used for its development.
