Determination of cadmium in hawthorn using 3D graphene functionalized by 3-thiophenecarboxylicacid-5-ethyl-hydrazide modified glassy carbon electrode.

Abstract

Three-dimensional (3D) graphene was prepared by hard template method. After functionalized by 3-thiophenecarboxylicacid-5-ethyl-hydrazide,3D graphene was used as sensitive element and the ionic liquid 1 -ethyl-3 -methylimidazolium hexaffuorophosphate ( EMIPF6 ) was used as a binder to modify the glassy carbon electrode. The content of cadmium was determined by ASV method, and the results were compared with that of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), specified detection method for cadmium in Chinese Pharmacopoeia edition 2020. Results showed that under the optimal test condi-tions(0.2 mol/L HAc-NaAc,£d =-1.2 V,td =180 s),the ASV peak current was proportional to Cd2 + concentration in the range of 0 -4 mg/kg,and the limits of detection was 0.6 ng/kg( S/N = 3 ). The results of methodology met the requirements of the test method and the results were consistent with those determination results of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
