A patient with major depressive disorder and auditory verbal hallucinations underwent 7 sessions of computer Avatar Therapy Systems (CATS). The Positive and Negative Symptom Scale ( PANSS), Hamilton Anxiety Scale ( RAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale ( HAMD), Belief About Voices March-Revised ( BA VQ-R), and Psychotic Symptom Rating Scales (PSYRATS) were used to evaluate the changes in patients' symptoms before and after treatment. Auditory hallucinations were reported, depression was reduced, and social functioning was re stored after 7 sessions of CATS.
