Abstract
- The article offers a study of a Brazilian fossil that suggests that pterosaurs were also clad in tiny feathers of varying colors. The feathers may have evolved more than 150 million years. The colorful feathers were presumed for signaling. It reinforces the idea that pterosaurs were fluffy, and some of them probably had complex, colorful patterns.
