ON APPROXIMATION BY BIVARIATE SZÁSZ-GAMMA TYPE HYBRID OPERATORS.

In this paper bivariate summation-integral type hybrid operators are constructed and their approximation properties are explored. We investigate the rate of convergence and order of approximation. Local approximation results are obtained using mixed modulus of continuity, Lipschitz-maximal and Peetre's K-functional. Global approximation results are studied using weight functions.
