Abstract

Effective ingredients extracted from natural plant Polygonum cuspidatum, and a biodegradable material poly(butyl diacid butyl glycol ester (PBS) composite, explores the influence on PBS,Polygonum cuspidatum extract will composite material crushing and mixed in the soil at the same time, by detecting the earthworm body protein content, catalase and cellulose enzyme activity of soil pollution on the environment evaluation, The results showed that the hydrophilicity of Polygonum cuspidatum extract/PBS composite material increased greatly, and the extract also promoted the crystallization of PBS to a certain extent. The degradation of Polygonum cuspidatum extracts/PBS composites was accompanied by the synergistic degradation of PBS and the degradation of extracts. The extracts, as small molecules, were first eroded by microorganisms, which increased the contact area between the composites and microorganisms and water molecules. The extracts of Polygonum cuspidatum and its composite material can promote the synthesis of protein, catalase (CAT) and cellulase activity in earthworm, which is friendly to the environment.
