Abstract
- The article describes the case of a 68-year old patient who was diagnosed with synchronous cervical and ovarian cancer using positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) using F-fluorodeoxyglucose as a radiopharmaceutical. The risk of malignancy index was used to evaluate the ovarian tumors. The patient underwent total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingoophorectormy and surgical staging and radiotherapy as adjuvant treatment.
