Abstract

The article reports on the adverse impacts of Russia's invasion of Ukraine to the Russian ballet companies and performers. According to elite Russian ballerina Olga Smirnova, she was forced to leave the Russian firm Boshoi Ballet and jointed the Dutch National Ballet as she could no longer return to Russia due to her criticism of the invasion. Dutch National Ballet's Ted Brandsen, the invasion resulted in a Cold War II.
