KAMP LİDERİ ADAYLARININ KÜLTÜREL ZEKÂ DÜZEYLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ.

This research aim is to investigate the cultural intelligence levels of the camp leader candidates participating into the Camp Leadership Training voluntarily for taking charge in the youth camps organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in terms of various variables. The sample of this study consists 272 camp leader candidates participating into the camp leadership training. Survey model is used for the research. 'Cultural Intelligence Scale' was used as a data collection tool along with the personal information form. Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis-H tests and descriptive statistics (percentage, frequency, standard deviation). In conclusion, it was found that the motivational cultural intelligence levels of the camp leader candidates participating into the camp leadership training have the highest mean (... = 4,37, sd=0,610), the cognitive cultural intelligence levels have the lowest mean (... = 3,61, sd=0,618). In addition, it was revealed in the research that the cultural intelligence levels of the camp leader candidates with better foreign language knowledge were statistically significantly higher than those with weak foreign language knowledge. It is thought that the reason for this is that the level of foreign language knowledge significantly affects cultural intelligence. It was thought that the statistically significant difference in the cultural intelligence levels of the female and male camp leader candidates was due to the sociocultural status of the women. Finally, it was found that the cultural intelligence of the camp leader candidates is at similar level by the other demographical variables. It has been statistically revealed that the cultural intelligence level of the camp leader candidates, for which the aim of the study is in this direction, is above a certain average.
