Alternative dispute resolution and the intensive use of technologies are part of the Brazilian Judiciary's plan to reduce the number of the judicial process in progress. In this context, it presents the research problem: Has the conciliation and mediation hearing of the Civil Procedure Code 2015 been underperforming in making deals? The initial hypothesis is positive. However, applications of Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on Machine Learning, and Distributed Artificial Intelligence, with an emphasis on Multi-Agent Systems, can make this procedural act intelligent and increase its success. Thus, using the inductive method, the article carries out a case study involving the observation of the CEJUSC (Judicial Center for the Resolution of Conflicts and Citizenship) hearings in Maringá - PR, to verify how the technology can help them.
