Abstract

The article discusses the things nurses in the United Kingdom (UK) to improve treatment and facilitate the healing of patients with ulcers and chronic wounds. Also cited are a study on the cost of serious wound management incurred by the National Health Service (NHS) annually, and the comment of Legs Matter chairperson Leanne Atkin on the need to support nurses in caring for patients with chronic wounds.
