Abstract

This article presents the results of a qualitative study on the "Todos ABC Monseñor Leonidas Proaño (phase 1)" campaign in Ecuador, which seeks to determine the discourses about the adult literacy process. The study analyzes three life stories of students from different regions of the country between September 2017 and October 2019. The results reveal the dissonance of discourses throughout the participants' lives, indicating the need for pedagogical strategies focused on biographical methods to promote meaningful and sustained learning over time. The article concludes by proposing recommendations in the field of adult education. [Extracted from the article]
