Highlights of the 34th EANM Annual Congress 2021, 2nd virtual edition: "FROM HAMBURG WITH LOVE".

The article presents a summary of the notable scientific contributions presented at the 34th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) which was held virtually from October 20-23, 2021. It includes improvements for the detection and efficacy of therapy in prostate cancer,the developments in instrumentation including the introduction of long-axial field-of-view (FOV) scanners with silicon photomultipliers (SiPM)-based positron emission tomography (PET) technology.
