The ICT convergence process generated in a group of corporations a high degree of concentration on a global scale, where big data is their main resource. USA, United Kingdom and EU regulations have had a limited impact on their results and show significant asymmetries between the control agencies and these companies. This study presents the business models of the platforms, and the rationale for USA, United Kingdom and EU policies.
