Abstract

A 2010 Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology registry showed that efficient ST-segment-elevation myocardial infarction networks cover [almost equal to]50% of Italy. Italy is assigned a total of [Euro sign]20.23 billion dedicated to health care for the strengthening of territorial assistance through the creation of new structures (such as community hospitals and homes). It is hoped that the Recovery Fund (Next Generation Eu) will enable Italy to reorganize a universal health system that previously guaranteed all citizens equal health treatment regardless of income.
