INTERPRETAÇÃO SIMULTÂNEA REMOTA EM CONFERÊNCIAS DURANTE A PANDEMIA DE COVID-19: DIMENSÕES DE UMA PRÁTICA EMERGENTE.

This article aims to present a descriptive analysis of interaction strategies used by teams of Libras-Portuguese interpreters in remote simultaneous interpretation of conferences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Interactions established between eight interpreters in eleven academic and cultural appreciative-informative conferences held from May to December 2020 are analyzed. The analysis reveals the mobilization of specific strategies related to (i) preparation, when professionals need to adapt structures to work from their homes and instruct the technical transmission support teams about the Libras space in screen and the ways in which interpreters are shifted; (ii) interpretation, when the team of interpreters needs to communicate without jeopardizing transmission; and (iii) the assessment when the interpreters somehow try to systematize the experiences in communities of practices in order to guarantee the construction of collective norms and guidelines for this type of performance.
