COVID-19 Pandemisini Önleyici Tedbirlere Uyma Davranışında Psikolojik Reaktans, Algılanan Risk, Korku ve Kızgınlığın Rolu? ve Mesaj Diline İlişkin Bir Öneri.

COVID-19 is a pandemic in which changes and transformations are experienced in many ways from consumption patterns to daily practices at the individual and social level, and this change and transformation has different psychological reflections, especially on individuals. On the other hand, the fact that daily life has changed drastically with the measures that must be followed and the need for the cooperation of individuals on this issue has a compelling effect. In this study, logistic regression analysis was carried out with a design in which preventive behaviour defined as a categorical dependent variable, and psychological reactance, risk perception, fear and anger as independent variables. The findings obtained from 463 data collected through an online survey indicated that psychological reactance based on prohibitions and social regulations, risk perception and fear are effective in exhibiting a high level of compliance with the measures. In reference to these findings, suggestions related to message language are presented to develop the desired behavioural change in the public favoring higher compliance with the preventive behaviours.
