Abstract

Yersiniosis is an enzootic infection engaged in trout-breeding in a number of regions actively - in North America, Europe, Australia, South Africa. It is currently being detected in Russia, where it causes significant damage to fish farms due to high levels of fish death and damage to commercial species. The test system developed by the authors refers to veterinary biotechnology, molecular biology and can be used for fast detection of genetic material of salmon yersiniosis agent Y. ruckeri in samples for both diagnostics and scientific research. The addition of a standard bacteriological study by PCR will significantly reduce the duration of the study and more fully examine the population to obtain reliable information on the health of fish.
